Current project
Tea Time with Suriel
This drawing is being made of words that people send me. Yours can be some of them. I would love to have your words in it. It is the first drawing in a series.
How it works
- 1You send a word, or a short phrase of 3 to 5 words.
- 2I draw it into the picture by hand. The words are the picture.
- 3When it is done, I email you and show you where your words are.

Questions
When will it be done?
A project takes about 1 to 4 months. A big piece can take longer.
When can I get a print?
I usually start taking print orders in the last two months of a project. Prints are ready about 2 to 3 weeks after the drawing is finished, once it is scanned and ready to print. Signed prints take a bit more time: they come to me first, I sign them, and I ship them back out. That can take 2 to 4 weeks, usually faster. Outside the United States it can take longer.
How will I know where my word is?
I email you a photo with your word circled.
Can I buy the original?
When the piece is finished, this page will say.
Something else?
Send me a note.
Work with me
Have a project of your own?
A book, a band, a nonprofit, a team, a unit or a memorial. I can make a piece like this from your people's words.
Let them say I was here.
